Lingholm Artist in Residence
The end of t6he process ; the individual panels came together
Rob Miller Lingholm artist in residence
I am the resident artist at the Lingholm Estate, Portinscale, Keswick, Cumbria. Lying in an enviable position on the West shore of Derwentwater the focus is a large, imposing ivy clad Victorian House. It was the home of the wealthy MP Lord Rochdale and at one time the holiday home of Beatrice Potter. www.lingholmestate.co.uk. My residency began in the great hall of the house. Its focus to paint two tryptychs of the fells that surrounded Derwentwater. Over the period of 6 months the tryptychs emerged.

Lakeland valleys
The Lakeland Valleys boast a stunning array of colors and visual allure all year round. Ive beentld that my brushes and paints have skillfully captured much of this beauty throughout Lakeland, some of which are highlighted in the gallery on this website. Prints have become a popular addition to the site, many finding their way into personal collections, both within the gallery and on the online store. Some paintings are waiting to be printed and will appear on the site.
