A walk from the lovely small hamlet of Grange at the mouth of Borrowdale from across ancient pasturelands is rewarded with the sight of a naturally wild and wooded Castle Crag. The view is a fair reward for effort made. It does not disappoint the artists first sighting of Castle Crag on from Derwent water. You walk here in good company with Constable, Turner and many other artists and poets through the centuries.
